We believe that diversity and equality are not just principles to be upheld, but essential elements that enrich our workplace, drive innovation, and contribute to the success of our projects. We believe that gender equality and diversity enrich the society which we are part of.

We are committed to maintaining a gender-sensitive environment that values the unique perspectives and contributions of individuals, regardless of gender identity, race, class, sex or class. We actively work to create equal opportunities for all genders, races, sex or class within our project. We promote the inclusiveness towards the LGBTQ+ community and appreciate the individual stances of all individuals and respect individual decisions. We embrace and celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and our project is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that welcomes all sexual orientations and gender identities.

We openly reject all forms of discrimination, including but not limited to racism, homophobia, classism. Our project and its workplace culture and interactions are based on principles of fairness, equality and respect for all individuals. We actively promote positive values of diversity, equality, inclusion and mutual respect across humanity. Our initiatives, policies and practices reflect our commitment to creating an environment where every team member feels valued and included.

EnCycLEd is committed to providing equal opportunity for professional growth and development regardless of an individual’s background, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or socioeconomic status. We recognize that promoting diversity and equality is an ongoing process. We are committed to continuous learning, evaluation, and improvement of our practices to ensure that we meet the evolving needs of our diverse workforce. By embracing diversity and promoting equality, we aim to create an environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute their unique talents and perspectives. Together, we can build a workplace that reflects the richness of human diversity and drives the success of our project.

At EnCycLEd, we recognize the importance of fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment that values diversity and promotes equality, particularly in the development of teaching material for schools about cyber security literacy. We believe that diversity and equality are essential elements that enrich the educational landscape, drive innovation, and contribute to the success of our educational initiatives. Therefore, our content development process is guided by principles of inclusivity, ensuring that materials reflect a broad spectrum of perspectives, experiences, and identities.

To implement diversity, we aim to apply narratives and tell stories of different teenagers who have experienced malicious cyber activities, regardless of gender identity, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, through various mediums such as texts, videos, comics, and podcasts. By portraying diverse characters and scenarios, we can provide relatable and engaging content that resonates with students from various backgrounds.

Furthermore, we have sought input from a diverse range of individuals within the networks of our partnering institutions to gather recommendations on which cyber topics are the most important to teach in schools. By incorporating input from diverse perspectives, we ensure that our educational materials address the varied needs and interests of students, fostering a more inclusive learning experience.

By embracing diversity and promoting equality in our content development process, we aim to create learning resources that empower all students to engage with and understand cyber security concepts effectively. Together, we can build a curriculum that reflects the richness of human diversity and fosters the cyber security literacy of future generations.
